Hormone Replacement Therapy: The Choice is Clear

Natural Progesterone Cream vs. (HRT) Hormone Replacement Therapy

Hormone replacement therapy is a choice you will have to make. Woman reach menopause naturally around the age of 50, or as a result of having her ovaries surgically removed (hysterectomy). As part of the standard protocol, doctors have routinely prescribed hormone replacement therapy (HRT) for menopausal symptoms for several decades. These prescription drugs are comprised of synthetic estrogen or a synthetic estrogen and synthetic progesterone (aka progestin) combination. HRT is also used to protect against the loss of bone after menopause.

HRT Risks Too Great

Anxiety about hormone therapy has existed for decades. Many women experienced worse symptoms of menopause or PMS while taking synthetic drug hormones that they had before trying the treatment. Doctors turned a cold shoulder to these women and told them it “wall all in their head”. But then they and doctors like Dr. John Lee were validated by the results from the Women's Health Initiative (WHI) clinical trial, which used HRT to address the most common causes of death, disability and impaired quality of life in postmenopausal women.

Natural progesterone cream, the safe way to balance hormones.
